Re: Screens - I’m confused.

That option does lead me to the Expedition screen but it’s finding one locally to at least sit on to see what the view over is like. Most vented screens that I have googled seem to be see-through not see-over. That is an absolute no-no. I understand what you mean about the see-through screen from m...

Re: Screens - I’m confused.

Fitting a higher screen may get your helmet out of the airflow compared to the standard screen BUT it could well result in buffeting. Looking at the standard mounting points there doesn't appear to be any option for repositioning the standard screen so I would be trying a 'blue peter' style cardboar...

Re: kove 800

Do Kove have a UK importer for their bikes or do they have a UK headquarters?
I did see the Voge 300, CF Moto and Benelli bikes on the MotoGB stand and the new Himalayan from Royal Enfield but apart from those there was little else of interest to me at the Nec show.

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

I've had 3 CCM644's over the years and having been without one since 2008 I feel the need to find a good one as a keeper. Interestingly the bike I replaced it with is still here despite being pushed to the back of the garage on many occasions ............ a 1200gs which better suited my plans for 2u...

Re: Has the time come for more comuter bikes

For me there's no time saved if you take into account the faff of getting the bike out of Fort Knox and put my gear on. My commute takes 20 minutes in the morning and 30/40 minutes in the afternoon in my van and not worth getting the bike out. It's a useful backup if my van is playing up though.
