Re: Insurance went from £130 to £400!
Ramasis were half the cost of what C Nash quoted me - methinks it's a bloody lottery It's actually a casino...the 'house' (underwriters) are taking your bet that you will have an accident where the claim will exceed the premium, plus whatever they can gain from investing the cash. Underwriters spre...

Re: Africa Twin for £25/ month - surely this is the WORST finance proposal ever imagined!?!
The motorcycle trade regards 3000 miles a year as 'average' for a big bike. 7000 miles pa is 'high mileage.' PCP = rent a bike off the dealer so you can ride it to the dealer on every sunny Saturday in the next three years, and stand around looking important while you drink a nasty cup of coffee. Bu...

Re: EU. In or out?
As the Euro emissions limits are being applied in China and India, I somehow doubt that we'll become a smoke-filled zone. I had to laugh at the PM's letter: the things that she says she wants out of Brexit: free trade, security etc; are all things we have as EU members anyway. Farage is planning to ...

In fact, the so called 'Euro' emissions limits are underwritten by the UN, and are adopt...

Re: Old Fashioned Fuel Injection
Exactly....DR350 is, in my opinion, one of the best trail bikes ever. I recall the first test of one which I read in an American magazine. It concluded: "Hands down, this the best four-stroke trail bike ever to come out of Japan." Guess what....after all these years, I reckon that statemen...
