You should be checking your chain and cleaning it regularly enough, every day on a big trip even so its no hardship to lube it while you are there. KTM 990 what to look for?
I have always fancied a KTM 990 and one is available near me in grey colour with 38,000 miles on it.
I have obviously heard endless horror stories about reliability but are they true?
Any tips on what to look for when I go see the bike at the weekend are greatly appreciated.

My last two bikes have come with chain oilers fitted and one of the first jobs has always been to remove them and put them in the bin where they belong in my opinion.
