Three Peaks Challenge?
I probably think I'm fitter than I am. Maybe the 3 day version would be better to start with, then I could do the 24hr version if it went well. I think I could cope with the long hours in the seat (have before, but not after climbing three peaks!) but I don't want to kill myself :-/ Appreciate the r...

Three Peaks Challenge?
I don't mind riding huge miles and it's not like I've never been or can't go again for the scenery. I'd be in the scenery for many hours while climbing too.
I don't want to be guided or driven. Looking at it as more of a personal challenge and a bit of fun.

Re: Three Peaks Challenge?
Thanks DG.
I do walk a little, around 10 miles a week, but the terrain is no comparison, as you say.

Re: Three Peaks Challenge?
Perhaps the 3 day version would still allow me to enjoy the whole thing without burning a week (limited time off work).

Three Peaks Challenge?
I quite like the idea of this.

Has anyone here done it by bike (not up the mountains, obviously)?
Comments or advice for an unfit 40-something?

Re: Solar charger.....
I use a similar powerbank overnight, one with a decent built-in torch and recharge/top-up on the bike during the day. Has enough capacity to fully charge my iPhone 5 and still function as a torch.

Solar charger.....
Charging your BT headset will be insignificant to your battery, especially if you're using it daily. USB socket is the way to go, flexible too.
