Heatguns go from about 100 degrees C on low to easily over 300 degrees Yes,but the parts will get nowhere near 100C before the glue lets go. Depends how long you point the thing at the glue innit. 40 odd degrees C wont bother Araldite (stated operational limit is 65 degrees C, there is some leeway ...

I use Araldite in work to bond glass to stainless,but,bear in mind it is not particularly heat resistant! If I rework a job I simply heat it with a hot air gun and off it pops!

I've just returned from a weeks trip to Ireland and found Donegal, other than around Malin Head, to be a bit disappointing. It was surprisingly built up (bungalows everywhere) and didn't have a real sense of wilderness, unlike the area around Westport and Kerry once further south. Have to agree Sve...

Mac, the last couple of bikes I have bought have been bought in England! I had the same problem,could not find the bike I wanted over here or if I did it was usually over priced.Budget flights are cheap and as you know £45 brings it back over on the Stranraer ferry.
