I do a lot of greenlaning and the best investment boot wise for me was a pair of Sidi Trial boots, just like wearing trainers!! Not waterproof and no boot yet to my knowledge is waterproof when constantly riding trails, therefore for me the answer is SealSkinz socks which go above the knee if you bu...

I can recommend this, great bit of kit as it's light(3.25kg), compact (72x16x16cm) and only takes a minute for a complete erection!!

I know of a brilliant biker campsite in North Devon Nr Lynton, they got a loo and washing facilities, it lies next to a river in a tree lined valley, plus they let you have camp fires.
