I do a lot of greenlaning and the best investment boot wise for me was a pair of Sidi Trial boots, just like wearing trainers!! I can recommend this, great bit of kit as it's light(3.25kg), compact (72x16x16cm) and only takes a minute for a complete erection!!

I know of a brilliant biker campsite in North Devon Nr Lynton, they got a loo and washing facilities, it lies next to a river in a tree lined valley, plus they let you have camp fires.
