Re: Use it or loose it

I have made that mistake more than once.I am financially stable for the first in my life and i seem to go through the same self loathing justifications for keeping my bikes. I love some of our American friends who go out into their barns and show off every motorcycle they have ever owned since start...

Re: Attack in France , Nice

I think everyone is appalled and saddened by this latest act of terror. I don,t think we should get on our high horses about the comment about Rihannas gig though it is the British way of dealing with tragedy to use humour. The amount of funny comments people made at my mothers funeral recently didn...

Re: The Motorbike Show 13/7 9pm Itv4

I was never a great fan of Henry Cole but i have to admit that he does own several bikes and is very passionate about motorcycling. He surrounds himself with enthusiasts and knowledgeable bikers and has some great down to earth articles about real biking which isnt beyond us and our budgets. I am si...

Re: Mixed Feelings about GS/GSA800

Perhaps that was said in haste as i don,t have a great deal of direct comparison as i have only ever owned trail and enduro bikes and sports bikes. I guess i should get more riding time in before saying that :( I have spent my whole biking life endlessly debating this conundrum. I have owned Honda C...

Re: Women in a combat role?

I do see the problems with the side of capture, torture and rape but if they are prepared to complete the training be as fit as the men and determined to carry out the tasks and get the job done including the necessity to kill the enemy when required they should be allowed to carry out the role. When...

Re: Mixed Feelings about GS/GSA800

I have spent my whole biking life endlessly debating this conundrum. I have owned Honda CRM 250 x2 excellent bike on and off road but not great for distance riding,Ridden KTM EXC 400 mixed riding and the same,Kawasaki KLX 300 which was great on and off road but even with the auto de-compressor advan...

Re: Fuel bottle carrier

If you decide to give the fuel bottle a solid mount they pretty much all fit perfectly inside the tool tube/generator manual waterproof tubes. When i put a fuel bottle in my tool tube i drilled a small hole in the top just to vent any fuel vapour coming out of the vent on the bottle.

Re: DESERT TWATS

Just looked at the website and it was "right up my street" Just the sort of riding we did on the MT350,s but further afield as the bigger bikes can rack up the miles more comfortably.I will definately get the DVD when we come back from our holiday :)
