Re: Ops Life threatening problem with my ATAS

IMG_20190606_155327.jpg He is getting all the fuel system replaced, injectors, tank, fuel pump, filter etc etc. I just thought I would highlight this as it seems that Honda may not have cleaned out any of there Tanks, or something in the fuel system is deteriorating over time. My bike is June 2018 ...

Ops Life threatening problem with my ATAS

Ok. Bit of a bad title to post, but it was. So had my ATAS for about a year now and just had my 16k service, but there have been a couple of small issues with the bike. Don't get me wrong I love riding the thing, up until about 2 weeks ago. So about 6 months ago riding to a petrol station on my DCT ...

Re: Crf1000 servicing costs!

So the dealership in question is maidstone Honda and I was lead to believe that the plugs would need to be changed. After having a look at the schedule it transpires that they get changed at 32k not 16k, so that would be a saving of £120 in parts straight away. I have also got 2 more quotes from Hon...

Re: Crf1000 servicing costs!

Thanks for the replies so far, the Honda guy had mentioned the service plan and the fact that high mileage bikers get turned down, because of the servicing costs. Put it this way they wouldn't of sold it to me as I do 18k a year. Was thinking about buying all the right parts for the servicing and ke...

Crf1000 servicing costs!

Was a bit shocked yesterday as I went into the Honda dealers where I bought my bike some 10 months ago and booked my 16k service. All booked in ok, but I'm now having 2nd thoughts I can do the service myself, but wanted to retain the 1 years warranty left on the bike. I was shocked when the guy told...

Re: Tickets now available for Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2018

Hi alun.
After writing my AT off last month it doesn't look like I will get my money to get another before this event so can't go. Now a mate said there was a waiting list and you buy the tickets back. Mine is available if it's needed.

Re: And another new Africa Twin

White van turned right in front of me on the Old kent road about a 3 weeks ago. I hit the front of his van doing 25mph. I got two witnesses, both are saying the vans fault. Now on a hire bike @ £144 a day and my insurance is going to the 3rd party for full costs. I had a week off with cuts and bruis...
