Re: Super Tenere

I bought mine back in May. Absolutely cracking bike. I find the seat a bit uncomfortable and mine has the touring screen which I don't like. The standard screen I found to be better after riding a mates. As mentioned the engine takes some getting used to. It sounds like a bucket of nails bouncing ar...

Re: XT1200 S10 Engine Failure

I don't think repairing the old one would be cost effective, you'd have to test ALL the other parts to ensure the shock of the failure didn't damage anything else. Re: XT1200 S10 Engine Failure

I know it's no consolation DB, but if it was a bolt that came adrift on the balance shaft at least you know the cause. Thing is, how did that happen? Is this a problem waiting to happen or a one off where the person building the engine didn't torque it up properly?

Hmmmn !!!!

It's a good bike mate. Paul S has known it for ages. I've spent nearly £2k on it in my ownership so at £2,200 I'm giving it away.

Try Tamworth Yamaha. That's where I got mine. Very good Premier dealer. They had a nearly new blue one in when I bought mine.

Re: EU. In or out?

I can't believe we're still talking about this! The referendum was explicitly clear. DO we stay in - or leave the EU? We voted to leave - knowing very well, that the process for that meant the use of Article 50. There wasn't any other way to do it - that is the only way to do it - it was the only w...

Re: EU. In or out?

What about British expats ? Are they allowed to vote by you ? Or should they have given up being Brits ? And all those people like Ralph's wife and the like, you know, the ones that keep up part of the British economy, have British born children who they'd like to have a good future ? You live in a...
