Re: Scottish Bike Show - any good ?

It was a medium in the Haka colours. I have seen it for £199 online but only in small sizes. There was a couple of stalls there selling it for £195-200 but they had sold out, plus I wanted to try one for fit anyway. (thumbs)

Re: Scottish Bike Show - any good ?

I'll buck the trend here and say it was probably one of the better shows I've been too. The place was packed, most if the manufacturers turned up, BMW were a no show, even MV Augusta and Indian turned up! Plenty of bikes that you could actually sit on for a change! Overheard the guys from Ducati say...

Re: Thats two motorcycle dealers closed down in the central belt

I'm positive Pheonix have relocated to Stirling. (thumbs)

See here. There wasn't any information on their website about the relocation or any signage in the Grangemouth showroom, just a small article in the Falkirk Herald, pretty poor really.

Re: Dash cam

Looks good. Can it me hard wired or is it a cigarette lighter mount? I've been using the Transcend Drivepro 200 for the past six months and can't fault it. I looked at all the chinese ones on ebay but I really wasn't sure what to get. I bought the transcend because they are a well know brand and yo...

Re: Recommend A Hard Pannier Solution For Under £100?

I bought a set of Givi E21s for £66 on eBay, second hand of course and only 21 litres each pannier but forces you to cut down on any unnecessary weight.

Re: Campsite suggestions, near Folkestone in April

I stayed at the black horse farm site in Folkstone which was immaculate but pricey, due to location and the fact it is a caravan and camping club site.

Re: Problems with the Sertao

I had very similar problems last year with my car, starting when it wanted, starting with jump leads then without, 12.5v at rest then 14.3 while running and it turned out it was a dead cell in the battery. My dad who's a mechanic done a 'drop test'(?) to confirm this, I'm surprised the RAC didn't do...
