Re: Puncture Repair Kits

I bought the Dynaplug Pro Aluminium after the praise on here. Nice little kit and very well made. Hopefully I'll never have to use it but feel confident that it would get me going again quickly. Just need to sort out the inflation side of things now as the CO2 canisters may get me going again I know...

Re: Puncture Repair Kits

Slime type products will probably ruin any TPMS sensor as they work by filling up holes with tiny bits of rubber until its plugged. Imagine it would do the same to the pressure sensor. I can't see any compatible products being available.

Re: Anyone not had a bike nicked (ever)?

I had my 84 CR500 stolen. Was in the back of my van at the time backed up to a wall. They broke into the car in front to roll it forward so the could do the same with the van to get the bike out. I really miss that bike. Had a couple of attempts on other bikes in the garage but keep them locked up w...

Re: Bike friendly B&B's - Carlisle and Scotland

Motorbike, we are hoping to surprise some old army mates in the areas we're staying hence the odd dog leg route. Edinburgh we were hoping to catch the Tattoo but may leave this for another time now.

Re: Bike friendly B&B's - Carlisle and Scotland

Moffat is now sorted. The Buccleuch was fully booked unfortunately but the Seamore House. We will be going to the Buccleuch though as their menu looks great.

Re: Bike friendly B&B's - Carlisle and Scotland

Cheers lads. The Moffat one looks promising and their link to Motorcycle Scotland was useful too.
May avoid Edinburgh this time round. Didn't really fancy dragging the Almax chain around.
Any other recommendations welcome.
