Its been up some Cotswold hills, not as steep/long as Porlock (quite) & it does it without me having to change gear, last Sunday we had the ice, but no cream!

The best and worst colour schemes could be the same scheme but on different bikes.
Honda red/white/blue looks great on Africas but on a Deauville or Wing!! similarly the candy red on Pans & Wings? would not suit the Africa.

was in Branson Gloucester yesterday they had a new Transalp 700 @ £6K (good price? dont know) and some used TA700 and Vara, staff friendly & chatty even though they know I do not buy new.

how much hassle is there getting memory map to run on peaklife. Are the com problems just a registry edit similar to getting MM to run on Binatone satnavs. I use Road Angel and Binatone for MM at the moment but thinking about a water resistant upgrade

Had a slightly different problem with the Optimate lead on my Harley. As the engine wobbles (its a FLH) the stowed lead fell onto the exhaust pipe and melted the end, wondered what the smell was whilst I was riding! Managed to cut the plug back so it would still work but the plugs will only push tog...

The hitech bits are OK if they continue to work. Now days most mechanical bits seem to work more reliably than they used to, although certain bits appear not to. But the electronic boxes especially the 'toys' do not have that reliability and cost a lot to replace and the customer is generally locked...
