Been doing this for 5 years, haven't paid for a crossing yet. They were worth 4x but 3x is still a good deal. MAke sure you exchange for the tunnel vouchers in plenty of time (two weeks minimum)

I run a EC200 as a trail bike. Suspension is the nuts (ohlins) and the light weight is a big plus. I do have to carry a small bottle of oil but that's no bother, I'd guess a tank will last about three hours riding so you have to factor in finding a petrol station. The top screw is bleed screw, if you crank the engine over with this slack it should dribble out showing good oil pressure. If it doesn't there's a blockage.
