Re: Rats!
With the .410 has anyone tried removing the shot and refilling the cartridge with ordinary candle wax? Makes bore cleaning more necessary but doesn't damage buildings too much--you have a kind of soft sabot. You can get devious and add a few .22 pellets into the mix for greater punch. I don't recom...
Re: Rats!
Our cat does most of the vermin control, but to help him out I've got a lovely little 410 which does the trick :D .410 ammo is pretty expensive these days, which is a pity as they are fun to shoot. We used them for Magpies when we were kids using a half full tic tac container, shaken to draw them i...
Re: Rats!
Are thy nesting close by or just foraging at yours and nesting elsewhere? Track and trace (Not Dido's version, but a local spaniel or scent hound). If they just travel to you for food then removing the food for a few months should reduce the numbers, but if they are nesting close by you need to find...

I can only conclude that they make it up as they go along. They definitely make it up. I once received a cheque in the post for £2000 from HMRC, when I questioned it they told me I had overpaid, so I banked it. Six weeks later I got a demand for £2000, no explanation, no apology for a mistake, just...

HD Food on the Go
With Harley Davidson bringing out an adventure bike, but their traditional customer base being burger eating chopper riders, the news is that they have licenced an attachment to allow the Fat Boys to keep munching even when out in the wilds. Unfortunately testing has not gone very well with one ride...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus
Someone calculated (not verified) that the cost of the failed track and trace would pay all UK nurses an extra £6K for 10 years. It may be less, but the principal is correct. One of my bugbears with Nurses has always been that they know that they will be poorly paid and have to work like dogs before...

Re: Motorcycle Mover
The spinny round thing can be homemade much cheaper using a "Lazy Susan" type bearing and a bit of durbar plate. The only issue being you would need to chock up the rear to get the centre stand down unless yo recessed it (or built the floor up). I was looking at a mover to move the bikes a...

Re: Brasilian virus
Does this mean crab lice are on the WWF red list...their habitat has been destroyed by the porn industry! Another subject taking a left turn...... The Brazilian's have created reserves for them like oasis in the desert, they should be OK there. The Germans don't shave their armpits (e.g. Nena...

Re: Brasilian virus
I was shocked to discover at the weekend via a thread on Twitter that there are women out there who still grow pubic hair... It is a strange thing that it all came about due to the Porn industry and the fact that it gives a better view of the goings on. When I was a lad shaving was something your g...
