Used to live close to the farm. It’s a good recommendation. If you can’t walk into Scarborough, a 25 mins fast walk gets you to falsgrave, Shops, food, beer, etc.

Scanning this thread it seems as if a narrow chain is preferable. DID who do make the best chains, market a narrow 520 x ring chain aimed at enduro bikes, this lasts really well if looked after.

I’ve got on well with the halvarssons gear. Quality middle market, well designed, made and wear well.

Or a 90 degree v twin to open up your bike options, some of those are well balanced engines. Need to be 90 degree cylinders mind.
