You didn't see the BBC's Rogue Traders programme - you wouldn't be buying electrical items of ebay if you did. I buy of ebay, but would now only buy from trusted electrical manufacturers (and not off ebay most of it is fake).

All these stoves are generally a fair bit slower than using gas/petrol. But work fine if you're not in a hurry. I found the Esbit was faster than the meths burner (but I wasn't using the full trangia windshield).
