And who is confident the EU will be in a fit state to continue if 10 years or so, whether or not me leave.
It will surely fall apart soon anyway.

Re: Mini screen 400exc
As per your duff post on the KTM forum , I’ve got a 690 screen you can have.
I’ll drag it out later and post a photo.
Needs new bolts as the old ones were a bit mank. It’s got the usual trail riding / washing scratches but is in good nick otherwise.

Re: UK to miss out on cheaper motorcycles
You really need to stop reading this stuff Richard. You’ll end up with a stroke or heart attack. It may or may not be true (on both sides of the argument) but reading all the garbage that is being put out isn’t good for anyone’s health. I am positive both sides will see that all the willy waving wil...

LV=. They were Brittania Rescue.
Covered me for 500cc Royal Enfield in India.
Their annual policies are good value and have decent cover.

Re: Removing baffles
Loud exhausts just give the rider a headache and p**s off nearly everyone you go past. My old Triumph is more deep base than loud but has set off car alarms. It’s amazing how things have moved on in 50 years. Catcitrus gave me a design to make my Akra equipped KTM 690 (as it was supplied to me) quie...

Re: UK to miss out on cheaper motorcycles
We don’t need to be over controlled by the EU to like being in Europe or elsewhere. Plenty of British ex-pats in NZ, Aus, USA, Arab countries etc. Ok, it might be a faff getting it set up and is selective (but who can blame them) but it is done in reasonably large numbers. The EU doesn’t need to exi...

Re: UK to miss out on cheaper motorcycles
Regretfully, I have to agree with hedgehopper. Working abroad for your company is completely different to moving out lock stock and barrel although, as I had a friend in this situation, where it is for health reasons, it is understandable. Out of interest, do full time residents in any non UK countr...

Re: A photo you took, today
The art of leading a ride is to only go where you know the route already. If not, let someone else do it
That nav routevdesign option sounds good though.
Stuck here in the south east, it’s merely trying to avoid the worst roads or traffic, hence not having a ‘big’ bike anymore.

Re: A photo you took, today
Doesn’t anyone use maps anymore? Ok, random riding is great but planning a good cross country route is good fun. I do use satnav but only really for those final bits to an obscure destination. Also for finding out where the hell you are when you’ve got yourself lost, although I tend to have the knac...
