Re: 2019 KTM 690 enduro
It's not had them before. Like I said I can't remember it ever being like this before, never used to get numb hands and tingly balls, but also can't really pin down a point where I can say, 'it got bad after...' Maybe the rose tint on my glasses has worn off... But it is quite uncomfortable to ride ...

2019 KTM 690 enduro
Right I am having some trouble with my KTM, that I cannot pin down. I have noticed that it is very vibey lately, but can't pin down if it has always been like this, or something new. Although I am leaning towards the latter as it is becoming uncomfortable to ride, and can't remember it ever being th...

Re: Iceland an Scotland lightweight ADV tent
I have one of these https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15978721/b ... t-15978721 and found it very good so far.
Pitch outer first, is always good in my book. I can fit in the porch in a helinox style seat, so good space.
NOt a bad pack size and ok weight for packing on a motorbike.

I have also been to Iceland, albeit in a car (4x4). I would agree with Magnusson. You have to stick to the 'roads' in Iceland, your biggest issue will be water crossings. And for that it doesn't matter what bike you have. Also before going fit the toughest knobbly tyres you can fit, as the volcanic ...

Re: Soft panniers/saddle bags - any recommendations?
I use Touratech (Ortlieb) 27l universal bags. They have been in torrential rain, used as bike rests and generally used as intended
for 2 years now. No problems so far and actually quite good value for money as they are sold in pairs for less than other
top end brands sell 1 bag for.

Re: Russia
A lot of footage is also from 'video games' such as DCS, which are incredibly realistic.

First ride of the year.
Only a commute to work but dry clean roads and 3 deg C. Beautiful sunrise to start the morning.

Why not up towards Bordeaux, then take the little ferry further north, Royan, then carry on up towards LeMans?

Re: Tell me about heated grips...
I fitted some Oxford grips and they get nice and warm/hot but my hands are used to thin and supple MX type grips and the Oxfords feel like im holding a couple of pick axe handles Looking to replace with some of those elements that go under grips (ive been saying that for months) What he said. The O...
