Norden Expedition

Now I am going to sound like a grumpy old man here. I watched the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGpPVIR2bW4 Now I must admit from certain angles it looks a bit reminiscent of a classic AT in some of the shots. And that got me thinking, have bikes actually progressed that much? What is...

Re: Norway Tips

Has anyone used the ferry from Emshaven, Holland to Kristiansand to cut out Denmark? Yes, you will be glad you took it. I drove my car, but even so N Germany and Denmark are f&#king boring (driven many times) unless you want to stop and see places there. You also arrive in Kristiansand at 09:00...

Re: Norway Tips

I can’t add much to what’s already been said but when you first fill up at the’Staatoil’ petrol station, purchase their mug and subsequent refills will be free - a welcome boost in a country that is both breathtakingly beautiful and breathtakingly expensive. If you want to visit the most northerly ...

Re: Norway Tips

I live in Norway, west coast. Send me a PM with your email. I have also done the Southern part of the TET. Depends what you want to see, Norway is massive, speed limits are low and you could easily get lost for 3 weeks Just visiting 'must' see places. Then there are all the hidden gems that 'locals'...

In general, the heavier and more powerful the bike, the more useless it is as soon as the wheel leave tarmac.
Except a KTM... :D

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Michael Neeves of MCN has given it a big thumbs up... 8-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU6Zh-vJC94 To be honest I watched that and came away with the feeling that he was trying hard not to be negative about the bike and that it is actually a bit Meh.... Competent but not particularly good at any...

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Just a thought, but what does the new Transalp do that the CB500X can't....
Having seen some of the videos that are already coming out, it doesn't look very inspiring at all.
Where does it fit really? I don't see it competing with the T7, KTM. Aprilia, etc

Re: KTM 890 - interested and after some info

So reliability has been a non issue for me, and for most owners I think the same will apply. Of course some bikes will have issues, but I don't think ...

Re: Classic singles and long way round

Although relatively recent, the KTM 640 Adventure, should have been at the forefront of todays market.
Shame team orange don't produce anything similar anymore.
