Thanks for the info and great links, yep, looking at the photo it does look like a sub, wish i had a decent camera, it didnt seem too far out, but it was too swampy to get close to it. There are a few good photos of it in google.

Was looking over the bridge in Newcastle the other day at a shoal of large mullet, dont think popping the mask and snorkel on and joining them would be quite the same as your experience. That looked great.
