Re: The Suzuki DR thread.
In the interests of completeness I got these: Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara 120/80 18 and 90/90 21. Interesting, I have the same tyres on the Husky 701 except a chunky 140 on the back. I have been very surprised how well they grip off road but I use this bike mainly in drier conditions rather than full ...

Disposable Gloves
Mornin' all Running out of gloves in the garage, current box is Ansell Touch N Tuff 92-600 which offer a good compromise between feel and strength. £20 now for 100, anyone recommend anything else? Pre Covid my budget was nearer 5 quid for a box ! Screwfix did a good range but no longer, Thanks for a...

Ford have been using this in a car advert recently. I haven't played the album in years so I dug it out. Demis Roussos (before he went naff), Vangelis and others formed the superb prog rock group The Four Horsemen back in the 60s - but nobody seems to play their stuff now. I think this track is jus...

You don't normally use a relay to operate the starter solenoid - the relay is probably to do with the sidestand switch, and can be bypassed. Below is the DRZ circuit diagram. Join Y/G to Y/B and off you go!

Part 3: Specialized Stumpjumper FSR. --------------------------------------------- New in 2007 this was a top end machine, light, and long travel, well damped suspension both ends. This is my main "Covid bike" and after fitting the 250W Bafang motor in March last year was used nearly every...

Electric Bike No.2 I had passed the Scott onto my mother with the intention of getting a conversion kit for one of my own bikes, but never got round to it. However, Lockdown March 2020 and I was straight on the phone to order a motor, the well-known 250W Bafang crank drive. I initially fitted it to...

Re: The Motorbike Show
I recently watched the last series , no 9 out last year and though our Henry is still a little annoying I really warmed to him. His enthusiasm and interest for any and all bikes really came out, in a bit more of a personal way perhaps. Anyway, I could relate to a lot of what he described about bikes...
