Re: Rallys!
Would love to do rallys! Jelous :P This isn't from experience unfortunately but from reading plenty of peoples experiences. I'd say while bigger cc 'adventure' bikes seem like a good idea the weight will get to you eventually constantly picking it up in the sand and for a fair few days on the trot. ...

Re: Anyone into Gymkhana races?
I've seen loads of vids on youtube. Looks very difficult but a lot of fun. Apparently NSR250s are one of the best bikes and a idle set to about 7000rpm!!!

Re: European Routes - E##
They are official routes, just not very well signed in most countries. As for a website I'm not sure of an official one however Wikipedia is quite good and showing each route and noting ferry routes, etc - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_E-road_network At the bottom of the page it shows '...

European Routes - E##
I was wondering if anyone has ridden any of the longer routes and if any seem like they would be worthwhile doing. I know the E22 goes from Holyhead (UK) - Ishim (Rus) and is pretty long and the E40 goes from Calais - Ridder (Kazakhstan). So does anyone know if they are good to ride, the latter part...

Re: Rare bikes on the road.
While looking at racers, here's a copy (I think) of a certain well known gentleman's ride, spotted at Matlock Bath last year, although Ben thinks he's seen it around Hunstanton also. The noise as I remember, wasn't like an IL4 that you'd recognise, it was more of a deafening shrill. BTW, I love tha...
