I did it anti-clockwise and the sun was blinding at the end of the day heading due west - I probably shouldn't have done it in a day, stopped at Oban overnight - knackered, wet and last 120 miles in the dark - Ooops!

Interesting idea - I think that the signal should be on the shoulder to avoid bag straps or high-viz vests and possibly be visible from the sides - might reduce a junction T-bone / SMIDSY situation. It's not clear whether this is intended as built into the jacked or an add-on, anyone got any more in...

the guy at the back of the group controls the group overtakes, best placed to see what traffic is coming from the back, once he indicates and pulls out those in front know it's safe to pull out as well into the space the tail-end guy has created.
