Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
Hi Mike I was not thinking about the fuel cans although I would like to know where you can get them for that price. I have had nearly 250 miles out of the tank before I bottled it and filled up. Usually I do round about 200 which is four hours riding on average so that seems enough. Apart from on S...

Jak I hope you enjoy you're trips I'm sure it will be great. I love riding the himalayan slower sounds and rides so much better 60mph is a nice cruising speed in any case. Are you buying some auxiliary fuel cans they can be bought for £30 each with the fittings

Re: London congestion / emissions charging advice
Yes exempt at the moment but I believe it will change soon.
I travelled from West mids to Notting Hill Gate last year. Parking is cheap I think I paid £1 for the morning one of those pay by mobile scheme's. Just check out parking locations and costs before you go if you need parking.

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
Personally the torque makes up for it. I use mine for commuting, local blats out on all sort of roads and terrain and Weeke d trips fully laden with the wife on the back. I love travelling on the a roads and picking journeys I want to enjoy so taking it easy and enjoying the view is the priority. Ev...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
Jak I found the same with the super runs a little smoother and the cost is about the same as you get better mpgs. The iridium plug also made it feel more responsive on lower rpms but reduces the mpgs slightly. Nathan please keep us in the loop with the powertronic as I am tempted too, I've got some ...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
I was looking at the powertronic too but thought the same. Just a little refinement on the power and a tiny bit more power would be great. Looked at aftermarket air filters too. I fitted an iridium plug very slightly less mpg now but more responsive on bottom end really handy when filtering and runs...
