No snow in the central belt (Scotland)yet but biting cold.
Not sure what route you are using to get to Glen Coe, as for stop offs, there is the Deli at Callander (at the square in the centre) and the Real Food Cafe at Tyndrum.
Have a good trip but take it easy.

Re: Thinking of a tour in March 2013
I live in Scotland and will be going up north on the usual week long tour, the third week in May.
Will post proposed tour plan nearer the time.
Scotland in March can be a bit on the wild side.

Re: XT1200Z oil change
You can buy the paper manual from your local Yamaha dealer, its on a print to order system. Cannot quite remember how much it costs, but probably about £40, so fairly expensive if you consider that most of us just print pages off the electronic copy when servicing the bike, all my old manuals are co...

Yes.
Have attached an extract from the service manual.

Plenty of really fantastic pictures Peter.
Maybe we can get back out on the bikes when the weather gets better.

Re: If I was a skinny bint. Classic jacket
I still have my 1970's Barbor jacket with a few battle scars from coming off the bike.
Trouble is it no longer fits me.

Yes its a two year warranty on the bike and any accessories if bought at the same time.
Good luck, would be interested to find out what failed in the button.
The Display assembly obviously comes to bits but that is definetly the last resort.

Brave lads, at this time of year, the weather could be challenging to say the least.
Maybe you should strap a shovel onto the carrier.

Never had any trouble with the buttons on my super ten.
When you push the left button quickly it should toggle between the trips and start flashing, that is when you can reset the trips.
