That's worth knowing, the cable on my Keis jacket has failed.

Re: KTM 990 what to look for?
As someone who's owned one for the last five years, here's my observations: Yes they drink fuel (150 miles to the light... if you're lucky, worst i ever got was 115 when green laning) but who cares.... they're fun! The side stand bolts to the engine, a potential for major damage, fixed mine with a C...

The Met do!
CTSFO Team of the Metropolitan Police (although I guess they don't often go off road)
I do wonder if those helmets comply with British Standard BS 6658:1985 though

Re: Is there such a thing as a perfect adventure tyre
On my 990 Adventure I've used Mitas E07s (on it at present), Mitas E10 (Rear), Mefo Super Explorer (Rear), Pirelli MT21 (front) and TXC 80 (Front & Rear). The E07s are a great all rounder in my opinion, grip well on the road wet or dry, great on fire roads but fairly hopeless in mud. E10 was a g...

Re: Mt21 on a 990 adv
I've used an MT21 on the front of my 990, no complaints at all. A couple of years back it did 250 motorway miles up to the lakes, a days greenlaning up there, the Piel Island Rally then back on A roads via the Trough of Bowland and Peak District.... great tyre! This is me on the beach byway at Askam...

Re: The perfect compromise ADV bike
I had an F800GS and yes they do get a bit "floaty" on the front end, never a huge problem though. More worrying was the amount of fragile looking plastic, mine was on a PCP so I fitted Metal Mule crash bars and Bark Busters but to be honest I always shied away from anything too technical. ...
