ActionCameras
Any information on what has happened to this company? Several months ago, I attempted to return a broken Drift HD but the PO said they couldn't find the office so sent it back to me (in NZ). I made contact directly with Ross of ActionCameras who swore blind the address was correct & we agreed th...

Re: 1991 Suzuki DR250SH for sale
The DR has had very few enquiries, unlike the Serow, which sold within 2 days. And yet, the DR is a much better off-road bike. It seems that most ADV riders don't actually want to get dirty... It may not be an award-winning 'best in show' bike, but is it really over-priced? http://r.ebay.c...

Re: Frank's last day out
You should ride that one to NZ Elle. Too nice to let go. Stay posted when you get there & spread the ABR forum word amongst the local bikers. Good luck with your new life. Have fun with your familly. Brian. (thumbs) Wish I could ride to NZ but I'm due back at work in 2 weeks. I'll try to keep f...

Frank's last day out
My DR250, Frank, was in need of an MOT so we took a little jaunt to the local bike shop where he passed the test with flying colours. After 3 days of heavy rain, the sun had come out the play so I decided to take a little diversion before going home. I know of a little by-way not far from Squires ca...

Re: War on Food Waste
nice topic :) I don't believe sell-by dates. Just about to eat something dated 25/10, I'll be ok (thumbs) But I know lots of people who throw things away just because of that date. Common sense, using their sense of smell and looking at the item seems to be irrelevant. Cured meats such as bacon will...

Re: Big fat Git 4 season sleeping bag/
what type of mattress do you use Pete?
I never believed the hype about the Exped - until I bought one. Keeps the cold ground well away.
Also, when icy temps, I use a liner - personally like the synthetic type but silk is meant to be warmer
