Re: Campsite southern Belgium/Luxembourg area?

I've stayed here before now http://www.camping-lasamaritaine.fr/en/ .
It's in France in the Champagne region but close to Belgium and Luxembourg.
Looks like it shuts on September 16th though

Re: ADAC - A Cautionary Tale

These served me well when I broke down in France last year.http://www.qdosbreakdown.co.uk/ I got recovery to my hotel, it was a Saturday, my hotel fees back, the change to the return ferry trip, and then they picked my van up from the hotel on the Monday and took it to be repaired at a main Ford dea...

Re: Triumph 800xc

Maybe I've been lucky. One slow puncture on the tubed rear of the XC and which allowed me to carry on for the weekend pumping it up with a small compressor in my bag. I've since put a 19" tubeless wheel on the front. And ridden my XS1100 all over the UK, and through Germany, Holland, Belgium an...

Re: Triumph 800xc

I've got an XC, had it from new. Handles nice two up when the suspension is set properly. Loads of power for an 800cc bike. Pain in the arse to service though. Remove 90% of the plastics and tank and airbox just to get to the plugs. I do all my own servicing, Triumph haven't touched it and charge to...

Re: Discs / Rotors

EBC discs can have more iron content, sometimes called cast iron, which will rust. I'm using some no name Tourmax, google it, 320 stainless discs on my XJR1200 and they seem good after about 15,000 miles, using a combination of EBC sintered pads and Gold fren ceramic pads. Good value discs in my opi...
