Ullapool in February! By Honda CRF1000 Africa twin
Hi all, thought I'd take my new Africa twin out today as the weather was stunning up here in the Highlands of Scotland! Although it looks like summer, it varied from 6c to 2c! I've noticed over the week the snowline's been coming down the mountains and thought a good Winter photo might be had with o...

Re: ABR man down
Me and Fiona have stayed at Takoda quite a few times, we've been friends with Paul for years now, a cracking bloke, hope he makes a full recovery and hopefully we'll see him in the summer.
Get well soon mate.

Re: africa twin for sale in stafford
Crazy money for an old bike. Certainly no use to me, I like to use my bikes, sitting in a shed would be an absolute waste to me.
For a collector, I suppose it's an investment if you've space in the shed.

Re: Africa twin
Saw it up close yesterday at the Excel show. Although I have no doubt it's a very good bike, I don't see what the fuss is about. It's nothing new - just another heavy adventure bike. Honda and the AT fans over-hyped it to the point that the real bike was bound to be a bit disappointing, regardless ...

Re: Africa twin
Now getting fed up with the delay of the glasgow dealer not putting a test bike up to try it....beginning to calm down from the must have it frenzy...looked at it again yesterday with all the extras added to it..and it stuck me it looked like one of the bikes that were on a roundabout at the carniv...

Snow report NE Scotland, Feb.
Well, it was such a lovely day up here in the NE of Scotland I thought I'd take my new bike out for a ride! I kept to the coast where the roads were bare and dry, not wanting to take my new Africa twin with 200 miles on the clock near snow or wet roads covered in salt! I went from Elgin down to Hope...

Re: New Honda Africa Twin 1st ride
I eat far too many pies! Had a nice macaroni pie up in Wick this week,,,, and a Scotch one! I do like to feel the front of the bike rise occasionally! I've even managed to coax a reasonable wheelie out of my Bonneville! Any way, weather's been poor, been working away from home and also doing on call...

Re: New Honda Africa Twin 1st ride
I spent Sunday finishing off fitting my exhaust and adapting my luggage from my Crosstourer to fit the Africa twin. Here's a couple of pics to let you see end result.
