Well Rangooonruns here are my thoughts. The KTM SM was the best bike I have had for general use. Good and comfortable for bimbling along and mad when needed. I rode it in the Alps and the Pyrenees and loved the twisties. I did a track day last summer by the end in the novice group I had touched toes...

Just bought a grey GS myself, traded in a KTM 950SM. I took a 1100 mile trip last week on GS and realised what all the fuss is about, it was excellent! Enjoy
