When is an adventure not an adventure? I left at 9.00 this morning to get there for 10-it was quite cold! Had to stop twice to defrost hands which made me late, as I got to A303, I went onto reserve, first time on bike and instead of going to Services ended up on A303 - went a fair way before I foun...

I've just fixed up a Gilera rc600. I'm tempted by the plain living in Wimborne. But worried about going alone in case the thing falls apart, I would be up for a day out with some local knowledge.

Belgium off road trails

Looking at a short trek into Germany at the end of the month. Found some good roads listed for Germany but there seems to be no offroading in the fatherland. Don't want to do much but are there any easy fire roads/routes in Belgium that anyone knows of? Just to complete the experience.

With some help I bump started my 955i Daytona but had to press the starter to engaged the fuel pump. It did take three of us

I have been thinking about a solo trip myself. Last year I went to the Alps with four others but organizing another date that everyone can make is difficult. I expect the days would be OK but do wonder about the evenings, I used to travel with work and being on your own in a hotel was no fun, I gues...

Thanks Mark for organising this. Last years was wet- this one was wetter! Marathon ride out.
The hotel was very good once again and the atmosphere very friendly. Good one!

Tim, thanks for this advice the link is useful. This will be my first out of Europe experience although two of the others have travelled a lot before.
