Back on topic... Passed MoT today...the tester liked the rear light! Filled up with petrol on the way back, so can now refill with a measured amount and work out the fuel consumption. Mine took 6litres to fill just 2 miles into reserve after 65 miles. I then drained it when I got back and confirmed...

I'd be interested in improving the lights if I can...the stock light seems too small for the bulb...I wonder if it can stand the heat in prolonged use? I had a frantic ride on the 2nd. Had 2 punctures, so was running very late, repaired the 2nd in the llandovery garage yard under a floodlight, not ...

Its a DC horn. You only need to look at the wiring diagram to see its fed from the pokey regulated supply, and there are reports of it having a short and blowing the fuse... Mine didnt work either, but a test on a battery showed nothing so I bought one of these, which is a straight fit and... hoots!...
