I like Teng tools and also Bahco. Never needed to claim off the warranty on either as they’ve never let me down. It shouldn’t struggle and doing Scotland by A and B roads is best way to do it. It’s not a race so enjoy the scenery and soak it in.

Last year I added CX500b to my KTM 1190 Adventure insurance through Carol Nashand expected the usual shafting. When I was told it would £18 inc admin fees I thought that’s very reasonable. When I went to give my payment details she had to tell me again it was an £18 refund! Never had insurance refun...

I have the 1190s and two up with luggage I get around 210-220 miles from a tank with a further 30-40 miles in reserve. That’s on a mix of roads including stop start in town as I don’t tend to filter with panniers and the wife on the back. No idea what this equates to in MPG as it wasn’t bought for e...

I use a Garmin Zumo 590 with Scala Packtalk. Works brilliantly at more than illegal speeds and also able to talk to wife on pillion and music too.
