Finally got to Harris and Lewis last August, Uig to Tarbert, Stornaway to Ullapool just turned up bought ticket. Took the tent - I'm too tight for bunkhouses - so can't comment on the lodges, but I don't think you'll have any probems with ferry space.

Having recently been called up for jury service which is based on the electoral role, it surprised me that not only British citizens get to vote but just about anyone who has lived in the country for 5 years.
