Manchester - trusted tech?
Can anyone recommend a reliable tech or mechanic in the Manchester area who does KTM's? Mine will need a major service soon plus I need to do a bit of electrical work (heated grips, phone charger and GPS power take offs) - normally I'd do it myself but I am renting a place for 12 months without a ga...

Re: being a "ride out leader" organiser...legal comeback
I am ready to be proven wrong... 1. Disclaimers. You are unable in the UK to waive your rights. A 'disclaimer' tends to be used as evidence that someone has knowingly taken part in a high risk activity. Things the legal process consider. 1. Age of injured party (are they a minor?) 2. Status of parti...

I want stores i can pop into during lunch (maybe for lunch) to browses, dream and buy stuff. It might even inspire new riders and lapsed riders. It wo...

Re: Ultrasonic cleaning tanks
I've got a cheap Maplin one, can get twin carbs in.
Really good for all sorts of suff, but don't bother the 'special cleaning fluid' i have been using stuff found under the kitchen sink without any problems.

Tyre mix - maybe a stupid question
Hi, maybe it is a stupid question... KTM 990 Adv Rear tyre standard (PIRELLI SCORPION MT90) is fine but I need to change the front. As for the next 6 months I am not planning anything except long road trips and my love of Continental Trail Attack 2 on previous bikes anything wrong with using a Trail...

Re: soft luggage woe
Thanks guys - i needed that. I had this vision of spending ££££ and 5 miles down the road being able to smell melted plastic. I have Kriega stuff US30 and 20 really good stuff. Be warned the dry bags melt when exposed to insect spray ( to be fair most thin Sea To Summit type dry bags will) Cheers D

Its time to splash out for some soft panniers, but worried about the things melting
