Re: Husqvarna recall 2017 off-road bikes over brake issue

well ktm used to ignore the design issues, writing them off to the wear and tear. so now at least they are recalling the bikes with issues. and it sounds like an actual engineering issue, which probably will not affect 99.99999% of users, more of their product liability insurance. there is a sense o...

Re: Lowering Links for XT660z or XT660R or CCM

I am 5'9 with 29" inside leg and did not have any problems with my xt for the four years I had it. I had it with a standard height. I do not understand the need to put both feet fully down while stationary. As long as you can reach ground reasonably with toes/half foot you are fine. maybe the o...

Was reading a ride report where a Tiger 800 fell into water which killed the speedo unit meaning the bike couldn't function at all. Seems the unit isn't waterproof at all. Just wondering are there any modern big bikes that can handle a full drop into water? I would have assumed the GS1200 would be ...

Re: Fibre Glass Tent Poles snapping (Vango)

I take a good care of my camping equipment but mine Vango Tempest ali poles snapped after four years and not that many camping nights (2-3 weeks combined).

really disappointed, as the new replacement poles cost almost half the new tent price!

Re: Safe to ride with air in the ABS solenoid?

keep the brake fluid in it untouched and then after reconnecting the brakes lines the small left over air bubbles bleed out. OK thanks, so what you are saying is it is an open system (no isolating valve) and any air bubbles in the ABS line should work their way out, either bleed down to the nipple ...
