Re: Scottish MCN Motorcycle Show
Dissapointed they do not have all the different types of bike starting up and having a wazz on the throttle for a minute or so out the back anymore. Always pulled a crowd hearing the weird and wonderful or just plain loud. Classics, customs, road-race, speedway, drag bikes. Loved it.

Re: Tiger 1050 vs crosstourer 1200 vs v Strom
Have had a Crosstourer DCT for 7yr. Had considered Super10 and initially the other two. Wanted comfy fast, easy, reliable, well built 2-...

OPTION 4: Ferry to Bibao/Santander, straight into the good stuff and a zig-zag down the Pyrenees to the med coast. Minimise your chance of cold, maximise your chance of heat.

Re: Cameras in France

Its a bloody fantastic place to ride your bike. You will love it. I guarantee you will be planning your next one maybe even before you get back!...

Re: Cameras in France
Got the dreaded funny lookin' envelope a week after I got back. 8:30 AM, a Sunday, empty m/way (ok, 1 7.5t truck and a wee van in the 30 miles from St Omer) on the way to the chunnel. Heeded all the warnings about "they are out to get us" and pootled about at 60mph. Obviously did not take ...

Really enjoyed it. Especially when the fella was needing to get another bike to ride in some obscure place and I was expecting them to pull out a Yongshendu 125cc or summit.....

Re: Scotland to Portugal 2019
As Peirre says, Serra de Estrella. It is not to to be missed. Absolutely stunning. Right up there with the best mountain roads in Europe. Stayed in Manteigas and did a few loops over 5 days. Incredible roads and scenery and was empty at the beginning of July. Although met another Scots couple in one...
