Yep, Michelin maps have the scenic roads highlighted in green, the regional ones have loads more detail than national but obviously you would need more of them.
Re Spanish fuel prices, I'm currently there now and I seem to get a discount from the advertised price if paying cash. is this normal ?

Re: Sports bikes
Bought this new in '99 and still have it. IMG_20160315_160921875.jpg She's been all over Europe with and without camping gear and has over 70k on the clock and has never ever let me down,. It has a few simple mods to enable me to ride it all day (although these days they are a bit shorter...) Helli ...

Re bicycle punctures, I went to some Schwalbe tyres with their puncture guard and have not looked back since...only one puncture in 2 years.

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
[quote= On the rare occasions I find time to go out on a pushbike around the local lanes, I'm amazed by how much I SEE. More than I do on foot or from a motorised vehicle. [/quote] I had the exact same thoughts today while out on the eMTB. The e bit also lets you go that bit further too without too ...

Re: Resole Sidi Adventure boots
I also have a pair of these and am curious as to how the Gore-Tex lining would be affected by resoling, assuming they are Gore-Tex ones of course.
A couple of years ago my MKI Sidi Adventure boots started leaking but Gore-Tex honoured their warranty and replaced them with the MKII version.

Re: Bike rider France gpx routes?
Can't comment on France but have used the Spanish and Portuguese Ride Mags routes several times with great success, particularly in Spain. They are a good starting point/base line if you are new to an area combined with a Michelin map and the scenic roads highlighted in green on the map.

Re: I'm touring around Spain on my Africa Twin
Unless one has to get somewhere quickly, it is almost sacrilege to use autoroutes in Spain when they have some of the best riding roads in the world....imho
Safe trip.

Re: 2022 KLR 650
It is a pity they didn't fit the Versys 650 twin engine in there, guys in the States have already done it many times. It would have not changed the weight too much and made a great travel bike.

Re: The next step....
Another option is to covert a "normal" mtb with a mid drive kit. I did this on a full suspension Voodoo with a Bafang 250w Mid drive for just over £1k about 20 months ago ( prices have krept up sonce though)...it has been the best grand I've spent in ages. There is a post on this thread wi...
