Well, Dakar bikes these days are close to 200kg wet but before 450cc limit they were even heavier so pretty much similar as new AT. Plenty of riders took them to the desert.

I have tried that and no popping indeed but what is nicer bike runs smoother also. Less pron to surging. I read it's not recommended with stock cat co...

get a nc750x, it has excellent headlight.

regarding crashing - all depends on surface we slide and for how long. Any suit will come apart eventually.
