Re: Heading far away - any suggestions?
Luge! There's one in Queenstown and one is Rotorua. Rotorua one is better but both are great fun if you're a big kid  I had to force my now husband to go on it initially as he said it looked like Butlins ride from the advert....then I couldn't get him off it. We had some great races :-) Queen...

Re: South Africa
A couple of hotel recommendations. If you are in Cape Town, the 2inn1 Kensngton is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooms and service 2nd to none. We got married from there, just over a year ago and they couldn't have done more for us. It's where the BMW Motorrad guys from Germany stay in CT...wh...

Re: Salut from France
Welcome. We're about 2 hours from you in the Limousin.....but hope to meet you at some point. We do dirt and road so usually out and about somewhere .although not on our own enduro style off road course at the moment as our river has burst its banks with the recent rain. Hubby is a bit miffed that s...

Re: Crash Helmets as Hand Luggage on BA
I've taken a helmet as hand luggage several times on BA no problem.
And I then take a laptop bag (without a laptop in it) as my normal hand luggage as well as BA policy is one bag plus a handbag/laptop bag.

Re: Are bluetooth head sets any good?
I've used Bluetooth headsets for years. Originally Scala Rider Q2, then G9s. We're now on BT Midlands which are IMO better than the Scalas and considerably cheaper. We use for bike to bike and for music. Battery life is good and they're easier to use. Also the Midlands fit much better in my Schubert...

Re: First bike for a new female rider
Good choice and a cracking price! We've just been down to Gawr Valley MC today to pick up another couple of AJPs for our fleet. Very helpful, nice people. I just brought her a AJP PR3 125 trail, its new (but 2014 stock) on a 65 plate and comes with 2 year parts and labour warranty. list price is £27...

Re: First bike for a new female rider
Definitely AJP PR3 125. Light and low which is what will give her confidence. Cracking little bike, very capable. I've taught 2 female friends to ride off road this summer on my PR3 240. One had had a disastrous CBT, the other had only ever gone pillion. They both loved the bike. One has done some o...

My Subaru Impreza WRX which is just about to be sold because it will cost me a small fortune to register and run it in France where we now reside.
