I presume you mean HID? if you buy a kit there should be a capacitor in it? no expert but I am sure one will come along!
I would be wary of an HID bulb as they can run hot and melt the plastic lens!heard of a few cases on Gser forum.
I only use halogen bulbs that are rated as safe for plastic lens

Funny you should ask as I have just fitted a Wunderlich spoiler to my BMW F800GS, only done a few miles and spent most of the time stopping every few miles to adjust it and see what difference each position makes, to be honest the jury is still out. It`s well made and multi adjustable but bloody exp...
Re: lube
Get a scotoiler! fit and forget and the lube can literaly be washed off with car shampoo.
Only tweak I would make is to fit a twin nozzle for the winter as in last years crap weather not enough lube was getting to the inside of the chain.

Re: Tyre Slime
Thanks for the info guys, the bottle of slime I was sold says "small tube tires, bicycle, dirtbikes & wheelbarrow. On the instructions it says "for high speed application (over 45mph) use only as a repair" so I suppose it`s OK to use in an emergency but wouldn`t want to leave it i...
