Re: R1150GS Adventure. 2004. Nitron Shocks
Are they set to standard Adv length or shortened ?
And what kind of rider spec were they made up for rider, rider & pillion etc
How many miles on them, as I think Nitron spec 20k or 2years for a service iirc

Re: Which Twat Suit ?
Don't worry about the 'Twat' bit, it's just a light hearted Micky take that has come about over the years. Think it part to everyone buying the complete outfits when Euan & Charkie did the big trips. I.e. All the gear no idea mostly and it's kind of stuck. And of course, for some people it's jus...

Sit down with the map book and cross reference it with Calmac ferries ferry website. You can do individual sailings to you're hearts content or do something c...

Also, have a look at some of the cycle rear carry packs that are available. Plenty of good stuff around these days and you might well have a decent selection to choose from in a large Halfords, Decathlon etc

Re: Star Ship Enterprise!!!
The newer GS are all LED iirc. But plenty of bikes with incorrectly aligned HID's. Mind I was making up a look for a set of cheap x4 led spots and happened to look into them as setting up the dimmer switch. Jeez nearly burnt my eye balls out. So could just as easily be a set of cheap led spots as ru...

Re: Cooling vest recommendation - again
Don't forget a nice simple fix of soaking a buff in water, popping it on and off you go. Will keep you surprisingly cool on a hot day.
