Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Love hearing comments like this as it reinforces my own thoughts on bikes. I love some of the bigger bikes and there is no doubt they are the best mile munchers for sure. My sort of riding usually entails a day or more travel to a particular location in Europe. From there I will usually spend time e...

Re: Goldwing adventure bike
Fair play to you wrestling a Lead Wing along roads like that. Good that you got the Misses involved as well. Motorcycling can be a very selfish act when families are involved. That said, my Misses has always been accepting of my riding and the need to do longer trips. She has never had the urge to j...

Re: For sale: Suzuki DR BIG 750
Thanks for the positive comments guys. I have a thing for big old trailies as well. The DR is an underrated bike I think. That said, you have to be a lover of singles. They have a unique character which is hard not to like. They really are incredibly robust and reliable and only have issues due to p...

For sale: Suzuki DR BIG 750
Regretfully i have decided to sell my DR BIG 750. I have already put it on ebay and totally forgot that I could have just put it on here first! I haven't been on here for some time and it slipped my mind like many things these days! I won't go into detail here as I will refer you to the ebay listing...

Re: ccm 644 Tet bike.....sold awaiting payment..
cheap bike when you consider how much a rusty DR650SE goes for here in the UK!
You mentioned shorty levers in the listing. Are they cut down standard levers or did you find shorties that fit? Would love a set for my 644.

Re: Burr fixing tool, genius.
People keep mentioning using thread chasers, die nuts etc....This tool isn't designed to replace those. Its a way of cleaning the end up so you can start a thread chaser or die to sort thread damage further down the bolt or stud. If the end of a thread is damaged then you cant start a die can you ? ...

Re: Anyone fitted renthal fatbars
I too have the same problem with bars. I like high bars but found it hard to get the rise I want without the sweep when using standard 22mm bars. I ended up using fatbar adaptors which also act as risers. The bars I chose were Renthal trials bend which are nice & wide with very little sweep. The...

This forum is vile. Most of you could have an argument in an empty room. Full of playground bullies & self righteous armchair experts that jump on anybody who may be individual or have a different opinion to them. If you are not in the click you are ignored or abused. I have got to the point tha...

Re: Car auto electritians.....advice needed..
Taking the bulb out will fail an MOT. It needs to illuminate when the idiot light check cycle runs. If you have an older analog car you can cut a track on the circuit board & solder a link in from another light. If your vehicle is OBD2 or canbus it will throw up a fault code if you mess with it....
Re: ccm450
Great bike. Wrung the nuts of a couple of test bikes & recommend the cush drive if you do any mileage on the road. Makes it much more civilised & will no doubt help preserve the transmission.
