Would it be OK for a newbie to join you, on a small bike (KLX250S)? I'm not quick on the road (stick to speed limits and not much overtaking) or off road for that matter. Though I can manage trails up to the likes of the Scarhouse Res - Middlesmoor track. Need to be back in Leeds for 5pm, so 200 mil...

I have lots of road experience but very little off road, I had done a weekend in Wales well a day and half really and that's it.
