Re: Attention Super Ten owners

I tend to check my oil regularly like you pretty much every time it goes on the centre stand and so far I've not had to add any, but then although I ride mine daily it's still low mileage as I only commute 6 miles a day.

Re: Attention Super Ten owners

Cheers Sid,

All they did on my first service was change the oil and filter, I know because I watched, nothing else was done. I'll contact them on Monday.

Re: hello from somerset

Hi, I'm also in North Devon, welcome to the site, they're a friendly and helpful bunch on here and I can vouch for Devon John's cooking skills.

Re: Attention Super Ten owners

I've got a 2010 first edition model first registered in 2011. I've not heard anything about a recall for the top box base plate, is this something I should chase my dealer about? and how would i know if it had been done or not?

I wonder if Vettel will put up 2 fingers to signify 11th on the grid instead of his normal annoying digit. It's always good to see the annoying german brat taken down a peg or 10.

Re: Auxiliary Lights on your Motorbike - Do you use your? If so when?

Only really use mine when riding at night as the standard headlight on the S10 is bright enough to make people aware of my prescence. Do get flashed alot though as they think the dipped beam is full beam. As ripper said, just give them a wave and carry on on your way. At least they seen you.

Re: Just bought a new (to me) bike Tenere. Could do with a bit of guidance too

Enjoying this thread as I bought a 660 Ten last week to use as a daily commuter and occasional green laner. Going to start the mods today while the kids are stuffing their faces with chocolate.

Re: Bike Safe courses. Ever done one ??

Not done a bike safe course but currently doing Rospa with Devon John. I've got my initial observed ride tomorrow morning and John is my observer, should be an interesting morning to say the least. I'm fully prepared for the slating I will get for bad habits learned over a number of years.

Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners

I remember reading somewhere,, probably on one of the super tenere forums, there's a fairly simple mod to fit a switch to the ABS to turn it off altogether. My bike is 5 months old now and the front spokes are still nice and shiny but the rears have definitely tarnished alot and I will be speaking t...
