Jim- yes in spain its required but dosent say you have to see behind with it..so get a cheap clip on..especially for the trails.. Arse. I don't quite know what you mean by clip on, don't suppose you have a link? I do have an old mirror somewhere but they are f.ing useless and unwind so I am not put...

Think the bike is ready now, test pack and ride done to make sure I can get everything in and set the preload!

Have you looked over in the Advrider forum in 'some assembly required'? Quite a few have been using parallel twins from gs500s and other things. It's worth a look!

Last I heard the breathaliser only applied to the French, is this confirmed to apply to foreign vehicles? As its uncommon in other EU countries it's kinda hard to enforce! I am sure it will be as respected by bikers as the bulb kit. I have never carried spare bulbs in all my years of riding in France.

I have two of the peli storm cases, been very happy with them (something like an im2300 or 2400 and a smaller 2075). You have to shop around and it's different for everyone. My favourites are motorcycle direct and 1stquote but I have jumped ship this year as Carol Nash gave me the best quote. Only other I have used was bennets but they were only competitive once on my first bike 15 years ago.
