saw something a few years back about this.when people who use rubber in their work need to cut it,they wet the knife first.this makes the rubber easier to cut. perhaps the same with wet tyres and punctures.

Well after 48 (ish) cars, starting with a Vauxhall Viva HB estate,

very easy,sidestand down,leave the bike in gear.only slight shaking when the train slows down/speeds up.when you get off the other side,just follow everyone else,the main road out of the station is well signposted,but even if you go wrong,come off at the next junction and turn around.enjoy your trip...

i believe you cant have a top box,and the panniers on at the same time,seems strange for a sports tourer.so i gave it a miss.the wife feels more comfortable pushing against the topbox.i may be wrong.

old brit cars might have been sheds,but you could fix the feckers with a pair of pliers,hammer and a srewdriver.not like these modern ones,when you need the latest nasa computer just to tell you why all the lights on the feckin dash are on,but theres feck all wrong with the car.had 2 moggy thou vans...
