If you don't like the cammo look then buy the raf/navy version in blue .
Very good value compared to other gortex products.

I missed the bit where you said A6 to start, so ignore Darlington [emoji16].
Penrith across hartside is nice, If you go further up all routes to edin are good A7 A702

For the last stretch I would definitely go from Blairgowrie to Breamar then in royal Deeside to Aberdoom. To get to Blairgowrie you could do the A68 from Darlington to Edinburgh , then there's no option but bypass round Edinburgh, across the new Forth Crossing and up the motorway to Perth. Another o...
