Re: Active Topics… Recent Posts by another name.

I was a bit confused by the unread topics (it doesn't take much) Say a topic has 50 pages, how do you go straight to the last post you read, which maybe for example on page 47, so your not re-reading posts. Probably simple to do, but I can't suss it. On the old forum as soon as you clicked on a topi...

Re: a stupid question I know....

Thanks, the cable on optimate leads that connect to the battery are usually prety sturdy wire, I check pressures once a week because I find inner tubes lose air faster than tubeless. I mostly use a pushbike pump does it easily, but if i'm feeling lazy I occasionally use the compressor. I didn't thin...

Re: a stupid question I know....

The fuse in my cig lighter socket was 5A but it blows when a compressor is used to do the tyres. Can't be sure without checking but I changed it to 10 or maybe 15A fuse. Now the compressor works fine every time. Except now the cable to / from the socket might be the fuse, and if you overload it the...

Sat Nav and Bluetooth for beginners

Hi, I have a Tomtom 410 and a Motorola Android smart phone. What i would like to know is, can I link the two together in order to use the headphone socket with earbuds to hear the Tomtom directions? I know basically what bluetooth is but have never used it, probably a dumb question, but any help app...

Re: One year on was it worth it?

Lots of very valid points given, but I think it is prudent to reinforce the leadership of the Conservatives and lots of it's MP's campainred for remain in the referendum, infact the official Tory whip was for remain. The point I was making is, they didn't expect to lose the referendum and therefore ...

Re: Bargain quality socket sets

I have a CK 1/2 inch drive socket set that i've had for 25 years or so, used it regularly but not contsantly, never broke and still works fine. Not sure where CK sit quality wise but I have no complaints. I have recently got a 3/8 ALDI set which is surprisingly good, and have a 1/4 Bacho set for rea...

Re: One year on was it worth it?

Quick answer to OP question.....NO My reasoning, David Cameron offered the referendum to appease those Tory voters who were drifting towards Ukip. I don't think, deep down he thought it would even come to a referendum, and he certainly thought if it did, he would easily win it. Move on a year, the ...

Re: One year on was it worth it?

I think most poeple who voted leave did so to control immigration and to stop sending money to the EU, and maybe to get that £350 million a week into the NHS. Ultimately I don't think any of these will happen or are even acheivable, so, we will not get the promissed honey and we will almost definate...
