Re: Anyone struggling with their tax return?

And Lewis Hamilton gets away with 1.25m in VAT by declaring his airplane as a business expense or some other ruse.

Re: The next step....

I have been chewing the fat over getting a couple of these for the boss and I. I have a DRZ400 and she has a road legal 350 Honda Quad that, where we live in Gt Yarmouth, we cannot use anywhere (almost). Using a farm quad on the road is not much fun. The bonus is that we could strap them onto the ba...

Re: insurance claim advice required

One more thing. When the broker queitly slips into the conversation that they MAY supply your information to other companies/agencies whilst they are boring you with their endless terms and conditions, what they really mean is that they WILL . Each time you make an enquiry about insurance in any for...

Re: insurance claim advice required

This is a conundrum. It is right (or more correctly wrong- morally at least) that all claims in all disciplines of motoring need to be declared as has been said above to stop a claim being paid out. Re: House of Lords Select Committee NERC Review.

They should be very careful what they wish for, if they get what they want it will a free for all , ride whatever you like. That is the problem. If you ban it all, it will still happen but the offence will be the same everywhere so there will be no benefit in sticking to the few tracks that we curr...

Re: Winter Gloves

You could pop into your local BMW boutique and have a gander at their winter gloves. I have had a pair for some years and they are extremely good for cold and wet weather.
Too hot most of the time though.

Re: Weird electrical issue

My starting point would be similar to the others above. Temporarily replacing parts of the relevant wiring till you identify which bit is causing the problem. From what you say, it is almost certainly a poor connection as it still reads 12v on a meter. These bad connections usually break down under ...

You mean you got a £72.25 ride on a KTM in the mud? :-)
That about sums it up. I could have gone 17 miles to my local KTM dealer and would have got it for free.
